Hindi Diwas at Embassy Academy was not just a celebration but a reminder of the power of language to connect us with our roots. The event was designed to honour and celebrate the richness of Hindi, while instilling a sense of linguistic pride in our students.
The day kicked off with powerful slogans celebrating the beauty and importance of Hindi. This was followed by poem recitations, where students showcased their linguistic flair, and a grade-wise Hindi speaking competition that encouraged young learners to express themselves confidently in the language, gaining a deeper appreciation of our linguistic heritage.
Alongside Hindi Diwas, we also celebrated the festival of Onam, which brought the spirit of unity and joy to our school. Students learned about the legendary story of King Mahabali, a tale of generosity, prosperity, and unity that remains central to the celebrations. To honour the festival’s vibrant traditions, children created colorful floral rangolis, or Pookalams, which adorned the campus.
