On October 28th, we hosted a heartwarming Grandparents Day celebration, honouring the invaluable bond between grandparents and their grandchildren. The event began with a red-carpet welcome, where grandparents were greeted with enthusiastic smiles and heartfelt hugs. A lively photobooth was set up, capturing precious memories as grandparents posed with their grandchildren.
The program kicked off with an uplifting welcome dance, followed by charming performances from our youngest students. The excitement continued as children from Grades I to V showcased their delightful dance routines, spreading happiness all around.
Our principal took a moment to acknowledge the invaluable love and support of grandparents. We also had a special guest, a geriatrician, who shared valuable insights on maintaining health and well-being and offered practical advice to the grandparents.
The highlight of the day was the ramp walk, where grandparents proudly walked hand-in-hand with their grandchildren, showcasing their special bond. They also joined in the various games while many showcased their cooking skills in the Fireless cooking competition. As grandparents left with smiles and treasured keepsakes, they expressed their gratitude for the unforgettable experience.
