At Embassy Academy, near Devanahalli, we believe that festivals are a beautiful way to strengthen bonds and build fond memories. On October 26th, we hosted our first Annual Diwali Fiesta, an event that echoed the school’s values and its deep connection with cultural heritage.
The festivities began with a heartwarming lamp-lighting ceremony led by Mr. Jitu Virwani, Chairman of Embassy Group, whose inspiring words resonated with us. Our little ones showcased their incredible dancing skills in the Group Dance competition. Be it Dandiya or Kashmiri folk dance, every performance took us closer to our roots. But the highlight of the event was the Traditional Duo Veshbusha ramp walk competition, where parents and children came together to celebrate the beauty of cultural diversity.
Staying true to the theme of the event, ‘Tradition Meets Sustainability,’ the event featured an exclusive maker's market, where local artists showcased sustainable and hand-made crafts. The workshops on lantern making and pottery allowed everyone to engage in something creative and meaningful. The students also thoroughly enjoyed the pony rides brought exclusively from the Embassy International Riding School. The tempting food stalls and exciting interactive games set the tone for an unforgettable celebration. Diwali Fiesta helped everyone let loose, share smiles, and make the most of the festivities.
